After watching the film An Inconvenient Truth I know the importance of our future here on planet earth and how important the atmosphere is. I never really paid attention to the Global Warming issues; I just live my life without any worries. In 2006, the film featured Former Vice President Al Gore he explained the different things about our climate and environment; the changes that have occurred over the years, it was very educational. He explained the possibility of ice sheet in Greenland and in West Antarctica collapsing I never would have thought that the ice glaciers would ever melt or collapse until now; I always thought they would be around forever.  It never occurred to me that even the polar bears would be affected; they live within the Arctic Circle and need the ice and freezing temperatures to survive. Mr. Gore really put things in perspective about from hurricanes to global warming and the challenges society faces in the future. Some things we take for granted may not be here for our children if don’t change they things we do and take better care of environment. Now I see why so many people recycle and they are environmental friendly I have never been into that sort of thing; however the documentary has me thinking about the future.  Are you ready to change the way we live? I am.
